Wolfgang Roth & Partners, Fine Art opened in Miami in the Fall of 2008, and brought world class exhibitions to the South Florida arts community for four consecutive years. The gallery opened with a retrospective of Horst Wackerbarth’s The Red Couch series in October of 2008. During Art Basel Miami Beach of the same year, a group show of David LaChapelle’s Jesus Is My Homeboy and Arne Quinze’s Sculptures was featured and widely attended.
Over the next four years, Wolfgang Roth & Partners mounted exhibitions from artists such as Helmut Newton, Nobuyoshi Araki, David LaChapelle (“Cars and Money”) and Ilya Kabakov (“Someone Under The Carpet”).
Wolfgang Roth & Partners also offered several art projects for the South Florida Community. The gallery produced the Ship of Tolerance project by Ilya and Emilia Kabakov in Miami during Art Basel Miami Beach 2012, and offered summer art camps to local children during its tenure in the Miami Design District.
